The game would initially look really good but the problems (black textures and other texture issues) seemed to trigger after going through a loading screen or after dialogue with an npc. #15.

It is under the graphic settings in-game. Another thing I would try, is to see what the high dpi texture setting would do for the game .exe file. Basically, the map, textures, models, etc, load WAAAAY to slow. Even the menu map takes ~3 minutes to fully load.
