At the north side of the lake is a waterfall. At the top of this waterfall is a beautiful place to build a base. Up the hill to the west is a gigantic field of iron. North of that is guerrillas for heavy leather and fur. There is a small lake just north of Claw Outcrop on this map. I always like to set up my second base there because there are a ton of resources nearby and it's close to many NPC camps.
