The more research I do I find the 5 gallon homemade swamp cooler will not be enough. Can anyone provide recommendations of what they have used in the past that worked well. I used my first-gen Shiftpod without its fly at an event where it unexpectedly monsooned, it got moldy inside as well. It never looked pretty again, but we sprayed the inside down with bleach and scrubbed the living Hell out of it to kill the mold and it’s still going strong.I cannot emphasize enough how nice it was to be able to sleep during the hottest parts of the day in a comfortable 22*c/71*f environment. The ShiftPod is also designed to work with dual-hose AC, so no cutting or mending of the exterior is required.
