You have spells, healing, utitilty and you can put out insane burst damage, you are tanky thanks to absorb elements and shield and buff the whole group with aura of protection. And it comes online at level 4-5 so pretty early i would say. You have alot of spell slots for smiting, way more then the normal Paladin.

In BG3, spell slots for multi-classed characters now rounds up (instead of down) the half-caster levels. This means that Pal 6/Sorc 6 have the same slots as a Pal 7/Sorc 5.
