The filter on the 2019 L5D is the smaller filter just like the 2020 L5P and it takes 10 qts. as well. Duramax L5P Engine Failures. I am not suggesting that there is any problem (s) with the 2017 to current L5P Durmax Engines. I am curious owning a 2021 L5P myself if anyone has had any serious issues with this engine. In doing research I find problems like NOX Sensors, DEF heaters / tanks, and injector electrical plugs, but that is about it.

No true, a number of tuners have tunes available for the L5P. If you want to delete then the two I know are motor ops and PPEI. As far as hard parts, WCfab carries everything and is the leader currently. If you want to delete then you need their downpipe and EGR "fix".
