How to lock subaru while running.

Jun 12, 2016 · I tried obxcrosstrek's method and it doesn't work. Maybe it's because my fobs are keyless start. What I found to work is to lock all doors with the inside lock button. Manually unlock the drivers door. Detach fob from valet key and put the fob in the center console. Close the drivers door and lock it from the outside with the valet key. I got the 2016 Subaru STI .. and yes I can lock the car while the engine is running.. I got three (3) keys from the dealership. use the one that doesnt have any chips.. in other word just the plain one from the dealership. 1. Get into the car and start it . 2. It took a ~10 min ride with full heat and some 30-minute leaving the car off in a parking lot while we were doing groceries to get it to unlock.1. Reel In The Key.
