With the surgically repaired wrist and the recoil-sensitive factor, I would suggest that you go with something with less recoil than the .45 / .410 Judge. Unless perhaps you are being charged by something like a wild boar and you are shooting at it since you are likely to miss. A 410 slug will be undersized to the 45 barrel, and the slug will not be stabilized.
