Verizon can make calls but not receive.

I have been on my family's AT&T wireless plan for a while, and recently switched over to Verizon to get my own 1 line plan. I kept my same phone number. My new phone came and is working with Verizon, I can receive calls and texts. However, my old phone still has service with AT&T and is receiving some texts and calls that my Verizon phone is not.It's not your phone it's Verizon. Happened to all 3 of our Verizon phones.
