Posted September 6, 2019. You should not need to remove the float bowl on an FCR carb to remove the fuel screw. It must be hung on the spring or it got turned in too tight at some point and the o-ring is mashed and that may be gripping it. Be careful as there is a spring, a tiny o-ring and a tiny flat washer that are part of the assembly.It's a frickin pain in the ass no matter which model. I removed the lower subframe bolts and loosened the top ones, then swung the subframe up and out of the way. I think you have to loosen the rear brake res and/or master cyclinder too.
