For any current or previous rxom employees, is the position worth it. It just became available at my store and I'm thinking of going for it but I want to make sure. I love my job I've been at Walgreens for 13 years (4 in pharmacy) and I finally like what I do but want to make sure it's worth taking.Already feeling the pinch of the budget cut writing the schedule (to help my RxOM) with it dropping from the 224 to 188 within the last couple of weeks. Basically lose one person and it's harsh. RXOM is a pathway to store manager. If you want a store then yes, it's probably worth it, even though many aspects of the job will suck. If you have no interest in becoming SM, then I'd NOPE right out that offer. Rxom is good if you want manager experience.
