TL;DR Verizon got me to switch to unlimited plan with promise of $40 loyalty discount. Chat agent messed up implementing and multiple calls/chats have been unable to reinstate $40. Also can't switch back to old 10GB plan. I have been a Verizon customer for many years and tend to hang on to my phone...That ($10 per line) discount does not yet show on my bill. So what you see here is the $25 per month for 2-3 lines (permanent) loyalty discount. It does say can't be combined with other discounts so don't know if it's going to nullify the $10 per line for 12 months thing. For that, all I can do is wait and see.
